NURS 1112 — Lab and Diagnostics
Introduction to names of diagnostic and laboratory tests and their normal findings, critical values, indications for testing, test explanations, contraindications, potential complications, interfering factors, test results, and clinical significance. Emphasis on the role of nurses and other health care providers in diagnostic and laboratory testing is done by addressing psychosocial and physiologic interventions.
