ART278 — Art and Photography in 20th Century Mexico

Same as: PHO 278 Description This course examines the contributions made by Mexican artists and photographers to twentieth century visual culture. The focus is on the “Mexican Renaissance” of the 1920s and 1930s; in particular, the revival of the fresco tradition and the effect it had on artistic production.
