ENG231 — World Literature I

Description World Literature I explores literature from our earliest texts to c1651. Individual sections will include texts selected from around the world, and incorporate prose, poetry, and drama. Discussing the central themes of the global literary discourse will students discover how authors have contributed to the literary tradition, recognize the influence of literature on contemporary thought, and form connections across historical, geographical, and cultural boundaries.
