GEOG116 — Oceanography
Description In this course we will explore our world’s oceans and the role of the ocean in the Earth’s system. Topics covered will include the flow and transformations of water and energy into and out of the ocean, the physical and chemical properties of seawater, ocean circulation, marine life and its adaptations, interactions between the ocean and the other components of the Earth system, and the human/societal impacts on and in response to Earth’s System interactions.
