Description Studies the composition, structure, and dynamics of the Earth’s atmosphere that influences global weather patterns. Meteorology defines weather concepts that provide the basis for forecasting, weather analysis and understanding atmospheric phenomena such as hurricanes, tornadoes and extreme weather.
