NURS330 — Biostatistics for Nursing
Description This course introduces biostatistics for nursing and allied health professionals. It presents the basic concepts of statistical ideas and methods, aiming to equip students to carry out standard statistical procedures and to follow statistical reasoning in their fields of study. The course covers descriptive statistics, basic probability concepts and distributions, classic estimation and hypothesis testing, regression and correlation, sampling and survey construction, analysis of frequency and count data, and measures of validity and reliability.
