Same as: ART 278 . Description This course examines the contributions made by Mexican artists and photographers to twentieth century visual culture. The focus is on the “Mexican Renaissance” of the 1920s and 1930s: in particular, the revival of the fresco tradition and the effect it had on artistic production.
