ELEC 277 — Siemens Programmable Controll

This course will introduce the student to the hardware, setup, and basic Simatic S7 software. The configuration of programming software for different hardware set-ups will be introduced. Basic programming in Siemens using rack addressing with slots (input/output modules) will be taught and emphasized. Basic troubleshooting techniques will be taught and practiced by building a simple industrial system.
