MUSI 124 — Music History I
MUSI124 considers the historical development of Western music from ancient times to the time of Bach, including various musical styles and periods, and the contributions of key composers, conductors and performers in shaping the Western musical tradition. The course material emphasizes concepts, structure, musical idioms, and aesthetics.
