NURS 299 — Advanced Nursing IV

Discriminates principles of advanced nursing for the complex health needs of the individual from birth to older adulthood with a focus on health teaching and client advocacy. Compares health and illness, addressing issues related to professionalism, management, nursing power and politics, and career planning. Clinical experience is designed in a hospital environment, and supports the transition of student nurse to professional nurse. (Course includes theoretical and clinical components.)
