RDTC 104 — Radiologic Procedure I

This course introduces the knowledge required to perform radiologic procedures on patients during clinical education as it applies to the anatomy covered. Emphasis will be placed on quality positioning, patient care, and radiation safety. Laboratory sessions will demonstrate the application of theoretical principles of standard and special radiologic positioning of the chest, abdomen, and appendicular skeleton to include the shoulder and pelvic girdles; positioning principles, terminology, and corresponding anatomy are also included.

Prerequisites: RDTC 100, RDTC 108
