ENG-111 — Writing and Inquiry (CAA)

This course is designed to develop the ability to produce clear writing in a variety of genres and formats using a recursive process. Emphasis includes inquiry, analysis, effective use of rhetorical strategies, thesis development, audience awareness, and revision. Upon completion, students should be able to produce unified, coherent, well-developed essays using standard written English. Semester All Class Hours: 3.00 Requisites: Take one: DRE-097, ENG 002 , BSP 4002 , ENG 025 , or ENG 8025 ; (Required, Previous). Take one: ENG 011 ; ENG 002 - From rule RMINP2; BSP 4002 - From rule BSPMINP2; ENG 025 - From rule DEVEHY; ENG 8025 - From rule BSPHY; ENG 045 ; or ENG 8045 ; (Required, Previous or concurrent).
