HIS-111 — World Civilizations I (CAA)
This course introduces world history from the dawn of civilization to the early modern era. Topics include Eurasian, African, American, and Greco-Roman civilizations and Christian, Islamic and Byzantine cultures. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in pre-modern world civilizations. Semester All Class Hours: 3.00 Requisites: Take one ENG 002 , BSP 4002 , ENG 025 , ENG 8025 , or ENG 111 ; (Required, Previous).
