ZAS-235 — Zoo Ornithology

This course begins the students’ study of avian species typically displayed in zoos. Topics include the biology, ecology, taxonomy, identification, care, maintenance, and display of birds. Upon completion, students should be able to present relevant and accurate information about birds on display in a captive environment. Semester pring Class Hours: 3.00 Requisites: Take BIO 112 ; (Required, Previous).
