HIS 248 — Native American History
This course is an inquiry into Native American history from pre-European contact to the present. It will focus on Indigenous cultures and societies before European contact, the impact of European colonization and settler colonialism, the evolution of the United States government's Native American policies, and the Native American tribe’s efforts to protect their land and cultural identity within these policies.
