Nurse Aide Training, Certificate of Competency (NATC)
The Nurse Aide Training Certificate at Delaware County Community College (DCCC) provides students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to work as a Nurse Aide in various healthcare settings. This comprehensive program prepares students to take the Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Competency Exam, which is required for certification. Upon certification, graduates are eligible for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) roles in long-term care facilities, assisted living care facilities, and rehabilitation centers. CNA’s work under the supervision of licensed nurses and assist patients with activities of daily living, take and monitor vital signs, and help patients walk and use supportive devices
