NMT 115 — Intro to Nuclear Medicine

This course introduces the student to the biological effects of radiation, radiation safety and protection practices and techniques, in addition to federal and state regulations required in clinical practice. It introduces students to specialized instrumentation and equipment used in clinical practice, biomedical research techniques, and common procedures performed in nuclear medicine.

Prerequisites: NMT 101, NMT 222
