The content is structured on the theory that the young adult and the middle-aged person are in different phases of psycho-social and physical levels of functioning and therefore, emphasizes the nursing process, pathophysiology, psycho-social and medical therapeutic concepts; as well as growth and development, nutrition/diet therapy, health teaching, physical assessment and community resources and responsibilities.
