Add to Custom Catalog This course will include the review of basic principles of chemistry, classification of nutrients and feeds; basic digestive anatomy and physiology in simple stomach animals, ruminants, and nonruminant herbivores; basic nutritive processes including ingestion, digestion, absorption, circulation, metabolism, and excretion; and specific feeding programs for various classes of domestic and companion animals.
