Add to Custom Catalog This course begins with an overview of journalistic practice but concentrates on reporter techniques the study and practice of the basic kinds of newswriting such as interviews, features, speech and meeting reports, sports with attention to the problems of gathering and evaluating the news for responsible, effective reporting. Students will be called upon to pursue news assignments outside of class.
