EDEL2280 — Literature for Children

Add to Custom Catalog Wide reading and discussion of the literature for children is emphasized in this course. Books that have won recognition as distinguished contributions to American and multicultural literature for children are examined. The selection of books for school, home, and public library is considered. In addition to becoming acquainted with a wide sampling of children’s literature, students also establish criteria for evaluation and classroom use.
