Add to Custom Catalog A course focusing on the legal start-up, growth, management and exit strategies of small business. Students identify and analyze the legal and tax implications of the forms of business ownership. In addition, students examine the process of forming the various types of corporations. Student investigate human resource laws, contracts, reporting requirements, bankruptcy, collections and small claims court topics. Students also determine how to protect their business innovations with copyright, trademark, patents and intellectual property law.
