Topics include the collection and tabulation of data, statistical description of frequency distributions, elements of probability, applications of statistical distributions, confidence interval estimation, tests of hypotheses, and simple linear regression and correlation. Course Note: Credit cannot be earned for both STAT 2050 and STAT 2070 .
