VTTK1640 — Large Animal Procedures

Add to Custom Catalog This course will include lectures on procedures that veterinary technicians will utilize in large animal clinical practice. Food animal and equine procedures will be covered in lecture and then demonstrated and practiced in laboratory sessions. Topics included are animal behavior, physical exam, restraint, patient history, bandaging, IV catherizations, medication administration, venipuncture, nasogastric intubation, quality assurance, reproduction, and emergency medicine. Course Note: This course requires a successful prescreen background check and completion of a rabies vaccination series. Course Fees: $150 Any
