Add to Custom Catalog Instruction is provided in the basic principles of infection, including etiological agents, pathogenicity, laboratory diagnostics and hosts immune response. Much of the course consists of descriptions of infectious diseases of veterinary and zoonotic importance. Topics covering the use and prevention of infectious agents which may be employed as weapons in bio-terrorism are also included. The laboratory portion of the course will allow students to utilize the knowledge acquired in the infectious diseases in those animals. Course Note: This course requires a rabies vaccination series to be completed before taking this course. Course Fees: $50
