AVT 111 — Aviation Electronics Theory

This course provides instruction pertaining to the technical math and physics skills needed to solve practical problems encountered throughout the avionics program. It provides instruction pertaining to the theory of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) as applied to aviation. Students are prepared to analyze complex DC and AC circuits and to understand meter movements, network theorems, voltage dividers, resonance circuits, transformers, and filter circuits. This is a CORE course.
