AR 135 - History of Architecture AR 135 - History of Architecture History of Architecture utilizes the lens of history to study how social, economic, political, religious, and technological developments of a time period influence the creative process of the architect. Observing the city and its buildings, the canvas of the architect, students will study major architectural movements throughout the course of the semester. Students will exhibit an understanding of the creative process utilized and catalog their encounters by keeping a sketchbook where they will diagram and sketch the defining components of each movement.
