CO 137 - Introduction to Welding CO 137 - Introduction to Welding This course includes topics on general welding safety, along with material cutting using Oxy-Fuel and Plasma-Arc cutting systems. Students will learn how to cut metal stock in varying thicknesses with emphasis on straight, curved, and bevel cuts. Students will also learn how to use the proper protective equipment, and how to practice personal safety regarding setup, use, and proper machine maintenance. Students will experience hands-on lab work. Course
