CS 101 - Computer Literacy CS 101 - Computer Literacy The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of computers. It will expose the student to an operating system; the use of computers in our lives; computer components and software applications including word processors, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, e-mail, and the Internet. This course is intended to provide general computer literacy and basic information management. It may be used as a liberal arts elective. It cannot be used as a computer science requirement or an elective in the computer science curriculum. Course
