EG 206 - Paramedic Clinical III EG 206 - Paramedic Clinical III This course will build upon the student’s initial patient contact experiences in EG 109 and 110, providing ongoing and more in-depth experience in patient assessment, communication, IV, and airway management skills while under the supervision of designated preceptors. Students will attend Women’s and Children’s Hospital gaining experience in the obstetrics unit and pediatric emergency department. In the geriatric facility, students will observe the methods of effective communication with geriatric patients, the typical afflictions of the aging population as well as the effects of medications. Where permitted, they will practice assessment and vital sign skills. Course
