Topics include a review of manufacturing processes such as glass, plastics, rubber, composites, ceramics, powder metallurgy, machining, non-traditional machining, surface processes, automation, PLC programming, and robotics. Other optional topics such as cost analysis with fixed/variable production volumes, labor assignment to stations, group technology, and production yield will also be covered as a project. Course
