PE 243 - Personal Training for Special Populations PE 243 - Personal Training for Special Populations This course is designed to introduce students to a variety of common medical conditions and illnesses encountered during personal training. Students will review physiologic processes that lead to conditions and gain a thorough understanding of disease processes and associated limitations. Basic program design methods will be reviewed, and students will adapt them to case studies throughout the course to create safe and effective personal training programs for a variety of special populations. This course will benefit those pursuing further education in Exercise Science, Physical Therapy, or Personal Training. This course requires PE 143 as a Course
