Public and private telecommunication networks will be examined. Telecommunications equipment, media, switching, transmission technology, and structured cabling will be demonstrated. The frequency spectrum, modulation schemes, and multiplexing techniques will be explored. Lectures, interactive learning tools, and demonstrations will be employed.
