HIT 226 — Health Info. Tech. Internship
The student will be assigned to the Health Information Service Department of a health care institution that will provide the student with practical experiences. The expectation is that the student will focus on many related functions necessary to effectively manage work flow and maintain electronic data. The internship will afford students the opportunity to work extensively with a primary group of practitioners and experience the day-to-day operations of the HIT department.
