HST 135 — Survey of African History II
This course examines the history of Africa from the 19th century CE to the present day. Emphasis will be placed on the socioeconomic, political, and ideological reactions of African peoples to colonial rulers, in addition to an in-depth analysis of national movements of independence and the effects of neo-colonialism
