The Accounting Foundations certificate is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills that form the foundation of Accounting. Using the “language of business”, accountants assemble and analyze, process, and communicate essential information about financial operations. Course work includes financial and managerial accounting, business law, and individual income tax. Problem solving skills are emphasized. Credit obtained in these courses may be transferred directly into the Accounting associate degree curriculum.
