This evening certificate program is designed to develop fundamental skills in the operation of machine tools including drilling, turning, milling, and grinding. Training in basic measuring, layout, and blueprint reading is also provided. Completers will be prepared for employment as entry-level machine operators or machinist apprentices in area manufacturing firms. Courses in this program can be transferred directly into the Machining Technology associate degree curriculum.
