EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION/ CHILD CARE PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (C55220C3)
This certificate will provide individuals interested in working in child -care programs or with children ranging in age from birth to eight years with a strong foundation of knowledge. Emphasis will be placed on: program development for children birth to eight years; positive guid -ance techniques; health, safety and nutrition; and effective communi -cation with parents, children, and the community. This certificate also provides an opportunity for the individual to obtain the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential Certificate.
