Biological Science Technician - Certificate of Achievement
You may also need more than 8 units to transfer into a Biology major at a university. Students completing a biological science technician certificate will gain the skills necessary to work as a field technician monitoring biological populations of animals and plants, particularly wildlife populations. Upon completion of this certificate, students meet the requirements to gain employment as a Biological Science Technician (GS-4) for the US Forest Service, to work as a field technician for local, state, federal agencies, and some private businesses and non-profits.
