Fundamentals of Rodeo Techniques - Certificate of Specialization
The major areas of emphasis include horse training, rodeo techniques, ranch skills, and pack skills. For the certificate of specialization in Fundamentals of Rodeo Techniques, students have the opportunity to compete in National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association events. Students will develop practical skills for successful practice of rodeo techniques. They will also develop the ability to analyze and problem solve utilizing the fundamentals developed within the courses in the rodeo skills certificate. For the certificate of specialization in Fundamentals of Western Horse Show Techniques, students have the opportunity to learn how to competitively show a horse in western performance disciplines.
