An introduction to the study and analysis of urine, body fluids, and other non-blood specimens. It emphasizes the physical, chemical, and microscopic examination of urine and body fluids, such as cerebrospinal fluid, serous and synovial fluids, semen, and feces. Students will interpret the results and correlate clinical values to health and disease states. Emphasis on procedures to ensure quality of results and safety guidelines for proper handling of samples. (Fall Semester) Course Learning
