CSCI209 — Game Programming II
This course builds on the skills learned in Game Programming I and advances students’ understanding of professional game development workflows. Topics include advanced material construction, working with volumes, applying physics to objects, designing game mechanics, and developing interactive game interfaces. Students will explore advanced particle systems-including beam, mesh, trail, and fluid emitters-as well as animation, cinematic sequences, and an introduction to game artificial intelligence (AI). The course uses the Unreal Engine or another production platform. in years ending in even numbers based on student demand. (Spring Semester) Course Learning
