EGEN201 — Engineering Mechanics: Statics
This course covers vector treatment of static mechanics in two and three dimensions; discrete and distributed force systems; analysis of trusses, beams and cables; coulomb friction on surfaces, screws and belts; the distributive properties of areas and volumes; and the methods of virtual work and stationary potential energy.
