This is a beginning course in image editing using Photoshop and/or other industry standard photo editing software. This class will introduce the concepts of basic digital image manipulation techniques. This includes cropping images, selecting details, creating new layers, adjusting color balance/contrast, adding type, web optimization, resampling/resizing of images, and using alpha channels. More intermediate topics such as layer mask selection, clipping masks, layer adjustments, filters, and image slicing will be introduced. (Fall Semester) Course Learning
