HTH101 — Opportunities in the Health Professions
This course is intended to offer students an opportunity to explore the world of health care. Through research, discussion groups, and observations, students will explore various career paths in the medical field. Students will identify the educational requirements for various medical field careers and will explore one potential career in depth. Some of the topics to be discussed are characteristics of medical field personnel, certifications and licensing, educational paths, medical field systems, and law and ethics pertaining to medical field professionals.
