Areas of study will include basic control circuits, sequency of operation of basic HVAC applications, electric motor theory and specific information on HVAC electrical component devices. The main focus of this course is the various types of AC electric motors and starting components used by single-phase and three-phase motors found in residential and light commercial applications.
