ARTT 100 — Introduction to the Creative Arts
(formerly AR 100) Introduces students to the areas of visual arts, dance, music, and theater through an exploration of representative works with a global perspective. The study of the creative arts will develop critical appreciation for the arts, enhance self-expression, and provide a better understanding of the human experience. In person or virtual engagement with an art exhibition and two live performances is required. The course meets the Maryland state approved Associate of Arts in Teaching degree.
