ARTT 108 — Introduction to Color Theory and Design
(formerly AR 115) Introduces students to the basic principles and elements of color theory. Through lectures, still images, and in-class studio work, students will develop an awareness of color and a deeper understanding of color theory and practice. Topics include the scientific, psychological, and aesthetic aspects of color. Historic examples of color trends in art and design will also be discussed.
