CMIS 200 — IT Support Services
(formerly CIS 200) Introduces the fundamentals, operations, roles, and responsibilities of information technology (IT) support services. Students practice problem-solving and communication skills appropriate in the computer user-support environment. Best practices in customer support and professional work habits are emphasized throughout the course. Topics include incident identification, incident management, information collection skills, communication skills, personal skills, technical skills, security skills, troubleshooting skills, training skills, and business skills.
