CMIS 218 — Information Security
(formerly CIS 218) Covers the fundamentals of information security and assurance. Topics include cryptography, security architecture and controls, risk management and governance, disaster recovery planning and management, as well as security frameworks, standards, and policies. Students learn to protect information systems from unauthorized access in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
